This is a rare, 'one of a kind' nylon strung GIBSON 8 string semi-acoustic made by Roger Giffin of Gibson West Coast Custom Shop, for Maestro Alex Gregory in 1991 and featured at the 91 NAMM SHOW (), it also features on Alex's website (), along with his other guitar and piano guitar inventions. As part of the three-piece piano guitar collection, it probably would have cost in the region of $7-9000 even then and who knows the 'true' value of this historic piece today, except to say that it makes an amazing addition to any serious guitar collectors inventory as it is the ONE AND ONLY of its' kind and is fully documented on Alex Gregorys' website. It could potentially be a "BIG INVESTMENT PIECE" that makes a difference.
