Here's a 1983 Fender Bullet H-1 in great playing condition. This one is a serious player's guitar with a buttery playfeel, versatile tonal range, and classic vintage Fender aesthetics. Check out that metal pickguard/tailpiece combo! You don't see that every day. This guitar has been altered in a few ways -- the neck has been swapped out for a replacement and a single coil pickup has been added in the neck position, as well as a 3-way switch. Everything else is original -- tuners, hardware, bridge pickup. The updated controls are master vol/master tone/split-coil button for the bridge humbucker, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The neck pickup was done very cleanly and it's hard to tell that this mod didn't come straight from the factory! Overall this guitar is highly playable and sounds like any good vintage Strat should. Very cool!!
The guitar is in good shape overall, with some cosmetic signs of wear and tear throughout as well as a finish crack up the back of the body (see photos) -- all wear is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect tone or playability. All in all an excellent workhorse guitar that'll last many years in the right hands. Ships in the original hardshell case which is worn but functional.
