Here's a 1985 Guild X-88 Motley Crüe model in great playing condition. This beast is a true shredder's dream and it's in fantastic shape for its age! Features include a screamin' pair of DiMarzio humbuckers, Kahler tremolo system, very comfortable satin-finished "C" profile neck with a slinky 24 3/4" scale, ebony fretboard with star inlays, volume and tone knobs with 3-way switch, and that extra pointy body shape with white finish. Set up with nice low action, this guitar is extremely playable and sounds fantastic!
The guitar is in excellent condition for its age, with a few minor cosmetic issues. It has a small finish crack on the top just above the neck pickup, as well as some indentations on the sides of the headstock (see photos), plus a few very minor finish marks/scuffs elsewhere that are barely noticeable. The ends of the points tend to be in rough shape on these guitars, but the points here are quite immaculate, with a very light cosmetic mark or two but nothing to write home about. All in all, this instrument has been very well taken care of and shows very few signs of play -- it's been freshly set up in our shop and ready to rock! It ships in the original hardshell case, also in excellent condition.
