Used, in good condition with original case. This is a 1970s-era Made in Japan Suzuki Model 808 Bowlback Mandolin in very good shape for its vintage. Action is very low and playable with clear frets, good intonation, with plenty of adjustment left in the bridge. The tone is sweet and lute-like with a balanced projection. It is rare to find this class of instrument in such clean condition! Solid spruce and maple construction.
Cosmetically very clean with one cracked bridge plate, one seam separation on the back (see pics), some finish wear. Included is the original case in rough, but functional shape.
