20, 12, 14 w/ Matching Snare - New heads for 12" top and bottom
Note: the 12” tom is actually not a full 12”. This one requires a metric head which is actually 11 7/8” so a standard remo won’t work. Remo does still make the smaller heads, but sometimes you have to hunt to find them. The existing heads on the 12" in the photos are in bad shape and have been replaced. The new heads will be included with this sale.
Update: I must say I am very impressed. It sounds very clean and resonates very well. I’m not surprised because the inside of the shells are absolutely pristine.
The set has some light scratches in the finish, however very minimal and still shines well. They’re very clean for their age. I noticed some darker spots in the red sparkle in particular on the top portion of the bass drum… It’s very subtle and more prominent, depending on the lighting. Also, there is a small fleabite cut about 4 inches below the badge on the bass drum as shown in the photos. The bass rims could use a good refinishing which would require sanding and paint however they are in normal used condition for their age. The inlays are tight and in good shape.
I noticed some rust and missing chrome on the top rim of the 12 inch tom.
This set is 100% original with the exception of the drumheads. Nothing has been modified or drilled. The original mounting hardware is present as well as additional hardware items shown in the photos.
The original spring loaded floor tom legs are in good working order and very convenient.
I noticed that only the floor tom has the gray paint on the inside while the other three drums are smooth natural maple. The inside of the shells are beautiful. I think with new heads these will really sing!!!
Bearing edges are in good shape. Chrome is in great shape with a few exception areas.
The snares are missing. Also, the backplate/screws are missing.
Original bass drum legs are present however missing is the cymbal arm that goes into the hardware mounted on top of the bass drum.
The open bottom floor tom is fat and came this way from the factory.
Included are the original hihat stand and bass drum beater, as well as snare stand.
