Used, in good playing condition. For sale is a 1967 Gibson SG Standard in a Cherry Red finish that had a professional headstock repair and one unoriginal pickup swapped. Serial Number 891129. The repair was done very cleanly by the Breedlove Repair shop in Bend, OR decades ago (see old business card, very cool!). The neck pickup is one unoriginal Dimarzio PAF style from the 1970s (we do not have the original pickup); the other is the original bridge "Patent Number" humbucker. The Maestro Vibrola is in wonderful condition and working well and is original to the guitar as well. Finish checking, some marks on the back of the neck, but the finish generally feels nicely worn-in with tons of player mojo.
This guitar is in mostly-original shape and playing wonderfully with some good fret life left, a healthy neck, and solid setup. Overall weight is a bit lighter at 7 lbs 3 oz - this body left the factory originally routed for 3 humbuckers (see photos). There is a bit of weight relief from this and one can see what is closer to the original Cherry Red finish before it faded. Included is a basic Gator Polyfoam SG case for safe shipping.
