About This Listing
Gorgous Washburn 12 string acoustic guitar
So let's get the obvious out of the way, there are two stress cracks on the top from the bridge ever-so-slightly beginning to lift the body. It appears to be stable now, and may have previously been strengthened in the past by someone else. It doesn't affect the sound or playability in any way though. Stew Mac sells a "Bridge Doctor" device for around 20 dollars that is easy to install and will secure the bridge for good.
The top is spruce and the sides are Jacaranda (Mahogany type of wood) with gorgeous natural binding on front and back of the body. The action is low and the fretboard is wide and comfortable. The sound projects nicely and is full and musical, I believe this is the first version Washburn built of this model. It also comes with a hardshell case labeled "Ibanez" , that has some little tolex tears on the outside and is in very very good shape inside. Aside from the two stress cracks, there is a scratch/gouge on the lower side of the guitar and a nick in the binding on the lower bout, both will be shown in detailed pictures. Otherwise the guitar looks great and sounds gorgeous!
