About This Listing

Here's a 1996 Gibson The Paul II in very good playing condition. This guitar made us all pretty excited when it came through the door; with a carved-top body that's 2/3 as thick as a regular Les Paul, this axe has all the slinky playability and fat tones of a great LP in a package that won't break your back after a long gig! A super comfortable neck with rosewood fretboard, mahogany body, black/ebony finish and a killer pair of humbuckers with vol/vol/tone/tone controls make this one a player's dream. Beautiful!

This guitar has some permanent cosmetic issues in the finish on the top of the guitar as well as some rusting on the pickup pole pieces and pickup ring screws and some other cosmetic wear and tear (see photos), but the neck/frets are nice and clean and the guitar plays great and is very healthy overall, with a nice fresh setup in our shop. All in all this is a fantastic US-made guitar that will last for years to come in the right hands. Get it while it's hot! Ships in a nice arched hardshell case.
