Used, in good playing condition with original hardshell case. This is a 1978 Westerly, RI-made Guild D35 NT that has a deep, rich, and nuanced voice and good playability for its structural condition. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard and bridge, solid mahogany back and sides, nice spruce top with straight grain and made to be played! This old Guild is about in the same shape as many of the best 70s-era are - right on the edge of needing a neck reset to play with super low action, bridge lifting but secure and many many miles and many songs left in it before the next player needs to foot the bill. We tend to let players like this ride until they really are bottomed out and offer the instrument at a better premium as-is. The action height currently measures just a hair above 3/32" at the 12th fret when the first fret is depressed, 1/16" on the treble side. The saddle is about as low as it can go but the bridge has never been thinned/sanded down (common procedure on an old Guild). Replacement bone nut that was shimmed at some point. Frets are fairly flat but with a decent amount of play left. Cosmetic wear and tear in the finish (see photos of the back of the neck, body, etc) but the top is relatively clear and the instrument feels great to play and behold. Included is the original arched Guild hard case that is a bit rough but functional!
