For sale is a 1983 Alvarez Yairi DY45N Model Dreadnought in good playing condition equipped with a K&K passive pickup. This is a rare guitar that is one of the better-sounding Made In Japan Yairi models to be found for the price. Solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides, ebony fingerboard, rosewood bridge with bone nut. Action is at standard acoustic spec with some room for adjustment in the saddle, working truss rod. Some finish cloudiness around the headstock/neck (see photos). Signs of standard playwear (see photos). Heel had split near the strap pin and has been repaired as much as possible without too much invasive work. Everything in that area is solid, but evidence of the crack is still visible. Included is a nice hardshell case.
