Here's a 1923 Gibson A-2 style Mandolin in Black finish. All original example from the Lloyd Loar era! Rare snakehead headstock, with a truss rod. There's one small back crack that's been professionally repaired, while the rest is perfect. The mandolin comes to us from an incredible private collection! No breaks, cracks, repairs. Playability is exceptional, with easy playing low action. Neck is straight. Frets are in good condition as well. No sinking on the top. Beautiful bright, sparkling clear tone, with nice bass response! Sounds amazing. OHSC!

Before shipping, all guitars & basses receive a fresh, deep clean, along with a pro setup to your spec's! We are an appointment only store. All instruments are handled by SS Vintage employees only.

Feel free to call or email anytime with questions, picture requests, or just to chat about the instrument!

Free shipping is for Domestic only. For International shipping, please message us your city & postal code for an accurate shipping quote.
