About This Listing

Warmoth neck with 1-5/8" Earvana nut, Wolfgang profile, stainless steel 6150 frets with rounded fret ends and rolled fretboard edges, Earvana nut, awesome dark Indian rosewood fretboard with a 12-14 compound radius and a very, very light Casey gun oil finish on the back of the neck. The neck is mounted on an 'aged candy apple red' (actual Fender color) Fender body (couple of dents on lower edge (see pics), Vega tremolo, Kluson locking tuning machines, and the guitar is loaded with a 'Rock and R' HH pickguard with coil split and 2 GM-'84 ceramic humbuckers (specs on the pickups and controls below).

8 lbs. 3 oz.

Like new hard shell tweed case included.

I've built 40-50 Warmoth partscasters for friends, customers, and myself and this one plays like butter. I've never really used other bodies or necks other than Warmoth because I have been totally satisfied with Warmoth products but this Fender body color made me decide to give a Fender body a shot. And it worked out awesome.

You'll love this thing with the versatility of the splits and it can flat out rock ala Van Halen or do jazz and even country.

The Vega trem on this floats and flutters just like a Floyd Rose and stays in tune almost as well at least 99% like a locking trem.

It has a light amber tint applied to the headstock and an aftermarket waterslide decal applied that can easily be taken off or left on. I like having a decal on the headstock of my builds and if I don't apply an actual Warmoth decal I sometimes put a brand that the build reminds me of. This decal starts with a C and ends with an R on this particular guitar build.

selling to liquidate as I have wayyyy too many guitars lol otherwise I would keep it. No joke. This one went together very well as 99% of my Warmoth builds have.

No returns unless not as pictured or not as described.

****Guitar Madness “1984” Humbuckers ****

*Fast Coil Splits, Treble Bleed, Separate Neck, and Bridge Tone Pots, Orange Drop Caps, CTS Pots.

Neck = 7.25k Bridge = 13.78K

*1 Oak Grigsby 3-Way Switch

*1 CTS 500K DPDT Push/Pull Potentiometer (Volume & Coil Splits) (Stew Mac Branded CTS Pots are better quality and tighter tolerances)

*2 CTS 500K Potentiometers (Tone Pots)

*2 Orange Drop .022uf Capacitors

*1 RRG Treble Bleed. (Orange Drop .001uf Capacitor W/150Kohm Resister)

Coil Splits:

The Volume Pot is a Push/Pull Pot. When the knob is lifted up it cuts the coil on both Humbuckers making them single coils. Perfect for when you want a more traditional Strat sound.

Treble Bleed:

A Treble Bleed allows the highs to pass through the Volume pot as you roll off the Volume. What this does is keep the Brightness and the Clarity of the pickups the same as you roll down the volume. You have the same clarity and brightness at 10 as you would at 9,8,7,6 and so on. This is a super nice!

Guitar Madness Ceramic “1984” Humbuckers:

Designed to give that powerful midrange rock sound. These are made for excessive distortion without being overbearing and noisy. Most pickups playing that 80’s sound need to be excessively palmed muted and dampened. You’ll find these a bit easier to control with the gain and distortion up. These will not disappoint!
