1960's Checkmate 12 Amplifier by Teisco Del Rey - Made in USA !- Needs Service but Works

Here is an interesting old amp - a Checkmate 12 by Teisco del Rey. This is a solid-state amp from the 1960's with what looks like maybe a 1968 date code on the 8 inch speaker. Oddly, while we all think of Teisco stuff as being Japanese, this amp is marked MADE IN USA on the back. It's in pretty nice cosmetic shape for its age with no damage, just some light rust on the handle mounting. It has controls for tone and volume. It works but it does have the typical hum from what I assume is a bad filter cap. It isn't the worst filter hum I've heard, and you can tell the amp has good volume and what I think should be nice tone once the cap is replaced. Because it has the hum I'm offering it AS IS / AS DESCRIBED but I don't think it would be a hard repair.
