Gibson Firebird '76 Bicentennial Sunburst 1976 w/OHSC

Gibson Firebird Bicentennial in Sunburst finish made in 1976 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with mahogany wings, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with the original Gibson Patent No. Firebird Mini-Humbuckers. Controlled by 2-volume, 2-tone knobs and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of it's original CTS pots dating to 1976. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and 22 jumbo frets with a slim taper neck profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Kluson tuning machines, a corian nut, am ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tail and gold top hat knobs with a firebird bicentennial

This guitars is n overall good condition for its age with the acceptation of the medium size chunk on the top rear edge. It has surface marks, some scuffs/ scratches, dings dents, some finish worn through, the chunk out of the top rear edge and average fret wear for an instrument its age. The gold hardware is oxidized and worn. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings and includes original hard shell case.
